Classroom-based training

The catering sector, from a restaurant service standpoint, offers a great variety of career opportunities. The management of catering establishments requires highly qualified professionals specialised not only in service techniques or time management but also in other matters necessary for the appropriate management of a restaurant: customer service, marketing and sells, cocktail, sommelier and wine knowledge, marriages, show cooking, menu confection, event organisation, catering and collective catering, among others.

The theoretical-practical training is completed with a period of professional internships in national and international catering companies (hotels, restaurants, caterings) during the two years of the course.

The Specialist Technical Diploma in Restaurant Services and Sommelier trains and prepares the ESHS students not only in service and team organisation techniques, but also in other matters such as customer service, marketing, sells, cocktail or sommelier, without forgetting the world of wines and marriages, the confection of menus or event organisation, catering and collectives. This training is completed with the knowledge of cuisine and patisserie techniques in order to give the student a global vision.
